Think back to Project 3 about offering value. Now picture your brand, your store, and your product.
What do you want your product to look like to your customer? What do you envision the selling floor to look like?
Are there collections? Is it merchandised by function, category, color or something else? What about your website? Even if you’re not providing sales through one avenue or another, this is still important when thinking through how your product will be received by your customer. How does this fit with your overall values and brand story? How will you achieve all this?
Now on to some more nitty gritty. How do you plan to photograph your product? Flatlays, lifestyle images, seasonal campaigns? Let’s think through how your product will look on an individual basis. When a customer buys something, how will it be packaged? Will you have branded bags, boxes, hangtags etc? Keep your ideals, values, and execution in line with your brand when detailing all of these things.
